The Dora C. Howard Centre was established in 1985. It is the first Adult Day Care Center licensed by the Department of Health in Rhode Island. We are a 501(C)3 state accredited nonprofit corporation welcoming all who need care.

We offer a comprehensive selection of health support and social programms in a protective setting during daytime hours. We are a secure facility staffed with dedicated, trained, and caring professionals including RN's, CNA's, case managers and activities coordinators. We also offer salon and podiatry services.

The Dora C. Howard Centre cares for stroke victims and individuals suffering from diabeties, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's Disease, and other health issues.

Dora C. Howard interventions significantly improve the quality of life for seniors and their caregivers while allowing them to remain in the community.
